Turkey Leather Accessories Import Registration Measures Take Effect
Since February 1, 2009, the Turkey communique's entry into the import of textiles and clothing (import: 21/2009) has entered into force.
The official gazette 27097 of Turkey announced the principles and procedures for pre registration requirements in December 31, 2008.
All sales of textiles, clothing and clothing, including leather accessories and headwear, should be noted in Hongkong. This provision applies to the following HS coding sections: Chapter 4203.104203.214203.294203.304303.10, 43.04, fiftieth, fifty-first, fifty-second, fifty-third, fifty-fourth (excluding 5407.20), fifty-fifth, fifty-sixth, fifty-seventh (excluding 57.01 and 57.01), Chapter 6 (excluding fire), chapter, chapter, chapter, chapter, chapter, chapter (Chapter 2), and ().
From these chapters / codes, the sellers in Hongkong can see that the import communiques are applicable to silk, wool, cotton, rayon and staple fibers, carpets and other textile floor coverings, especially woven fabrics and lace, knitted or crocheted fabrics, all kinds of clothing and clothing (whether knitted or crochet or non knitting), blankets, sheets and tablecloths, curtains, textile bags and bags, hair nets, crochet textile hats and headwear.
Any importer of the above products must register the import information at the so-called record center.
The only condition for exemption from registration is that the gross weight of a single customs entry declaration is equal to or less than 5 kg.
Importers should pay attention to the registration certificate mentioned above, or (Electronic) media digital record is the customs entry declaration registration required by the customs administration department, regardless of the production country.
The certificate of registration is valid for 90 days. The certificate can not be used for more than one customs entry declaration, nor can it be extended. The certificate can not be handed over to third people.
