CPI Rising Factor

In August 2011, China's consumer price level rose 6.2% year-on-year.

Among them, the city rose 5.9%, the countryside rose by 6.7%, food prices rose by 13.4%, non food prices rose by 3%, consumer prices rose by 7.3%, and service prices rose by 3.4%.

The national consumer price level rose 0.3%.

Among them, cities rose 0.3%, rural areas rose 0.3%, food prices rose 0.6%, non food prices rose 0.2%, consumer goods prices rose 0.3%, and services prices rose 0.2%.


Food prices rose by 13.4% over the same period last year, affecting the overall price level by about 4.02 percentage points.

Among them, grain

Rise in price

12.2%, the total price level rose by about 0.33 percentage points; the price of meat and poultry and its products rose by 29.3%; the total price level rose by about 1.89 percentage points (pork prices rose 45.5%, affecting the total price level rose by 1.27 percentage points); egg prices rose 16.3%, affecting the total price level of the price rose by 0.14 percentage points; the price of aquatic products increased 14.7%, affecting the general price level to rise by about 0.33 percentage points; fresh vegetable prices rose 0.1%; the price of fresh fruits increased, affecting the general price level rose by about a percentage point; oil prices rose, affecting the overall price level rose by about a percentage point.


The prices of tobacco and liquor increased by 2.9% over the same period last year.

Among them, tobacco prices rose 0.3%, liquor prices rose by 6.8%.


Clothing prices rose by 2.9% over the same period last year.

Among them, clothing prices rose 3.2%, shoes prices rose 1.1%.


The prices of household appliances and maintenance services increased by 2.8% over the same period last year.

Among them, the price of durable consumer goods rose by 0.7%, and the price of family services and processing and maintenance services increased by 11.6%.


Health care and personal goods prices rose by 4.1% over the same period last year.

Among them, the price of Western medicine dropped by 0.4%, the prices of Chinese herbal medicines and proprietary Chinese medicines increased by 14.2%, and the prices of medical and health services increased by 0.5%.


Traffic and communications prices rose 1% compared to the same period last year.

Among them, the pport price dropped by 0.7%, vehicle fuel and spare parts prices increased by 14.9%, vehicle use and maintenance prices increased by 4.5%, inter city traffic charges increased by 3.1%, urban public pport fees rose by 2.6%, and communications tool prices dropped by 13%.


The prices of entertainment, education, stationery and services increased by 0.4% over the same period last year.

Among them, education prices rose by 1.6%, entertainment and entertainment prices increased by 1.6%, tourism prices rose by 2.9%, entertainment and durability.

Residential prices rose 5.5% over the same period.

Last year, the price rise factor was about 2.7 percentage points, and the new price increase factor is about 3.5 percentage points this year.
